Getting around in Paris:

Paris has a very efficient public transport network, and it is one of the best in the world. The city has several subway stations and you can easily move from one area to another, and it also has bus, taxi, tramway, RER and rental of Vélibs (bikes).

Paris Metro (Metropolitain) is considered one of the most efficient ones in the world, the lines cover the entire city, it is on time and its highlight is the number of stations and its network. With a map you can plan a route between two places in the best possible way.

Bus

Paris has a great bus network covering the entire city and the suburbs. The bus stops are found in every street. Paris is characterized by a climate between the oceanic climate and the continental one. There are frequent rains in all seasons, it is a difficult weather to forecast, but the continental influence makes it rain less than on the coast. The climate varies a lot in the summer, from warm and fuggy days with temperatures above 35°C (95°F) to cold days, with wind and rain. Spring and autumn are more pleasant months to visit the city because those seasons have milder temperatures. Winter can be a little harsh on those not used to temperatures close to 0°C (32°F), but it doesn't snow often in the city. Winter officially begins in December and ends in March, and the days are shorter this time of year.
